‘Fruit Hill Farm’ was founded in 1988 as a commercial organic market garden growing soft fruit and vegetables.  It was one of few certified organic holdings in West Cork.

The difficulty of obtaining organic input materials led us to the idea of supplying the growing number of organic growers, farmers and gardeners all over the country with organic fertilizers, seeds and tools. In 1994 Fruit Hill Farm (trading) opened its office and published the first Mail Order Catalogue.
